Never thought I'd be paying this much attention to what's happening over in Winnipeg.

The time difference certainly isn't doing my sleep schedule any favors, but I have to say, it's been a pretty enjoyable few days. Some things are worth staying up for.

They've got a decent goalie over there, apparently. 🤷‍♂️

Lost our second match, too. Disappointing 1-3 at Moscow Academy. I performed well defensively, 7 interceptions (almost as much as the whole rest of the team), but I had no offensive impact. Goals came across the other side, so I guess I have to accept the result for now - did what I could.

It's the start of the season!

Made my first appearance for Vasteras Academy today. Couldn't be prouder, although me and the lads lost at Southampton. The manager was pleased with my performance, but I'll keep on working hard.

3rd overall. Big expectations. Good. I didn't work this hard to shy away from them.

Estevan was just the beginning. Bigger stage, tougher opponents, brighter lights. I know exactly what's expected of me, and believe me, I expect even more from myself.

I'm not here to simply live up to the hype. I want to give Vancouver something worth remembering.

These past few weeks in Winnipeg have been incredible. Between getting to know my new teammates, settling into the city, and putting in the work at practice, I'm starting to feel right at home.

Still a little nervous, if I'm being honest, but mostly just excited to finally get out there with everyone and see what we can accomplish together!
